One way that webmasters keep traffic coming in to their sites is to post reviews that are useful to consumers. It is possible to be paid for writing reviews that will then be published on those sites.

Epinions

Epionions has offered various amounts of pay for the reviews it publishes for years. There have been offers of $10 for writing 10 reviews for the site as well as other amounts. Sometimes there are bonus offers for highly-rated reviews.

SharedReviews

SharedReviews has a system of reviews and votes that earn money for both the reviewers and the voters. A percentage of the amount that the site makes for each published review is paid to the review writer as well as to the people who voted the review a helpful one.

ReviewStream

Reviewstream has 10′s of thousands of reviews on everything from stereo equipment to political candidates. The payscale for ReviewStream is based on how valuable it is to the site. A good review that meets the criteria of the site pays $2. Reviews that don’t are paid .40. Payments are made when the writer’s account reaches $50. There is also a vote system in place, as with SharedReviews. Voted bring in additional .10 apiece.

SoftwareJudge

Paid reviews for softwarejudge.com are honest reviews of software. Review writers are paid once their account reaches $200. It sounds like a lot, but each review is paid from $1 to $50, depending on how in-depth and well written the review is. The software to be reviewed is listed on the site. Review writers pick whatever software they wish from that list.

Paid Reviews on Blogs

There are also a number of sites that allow bloggers to publish a review on their own blog and be paid for it. Some of these sites require a positive view that’s full of links back to the site or product being reviewed. Others just want to get the client’s name out there and pay for honest reviews that can be either positive or negative.

PayPerPost

This is one of the best-known paid review sites because of the vast number of opportnities that come through the site. PayPerPost requires that bloggers disclose paid posts. The system works on a lightning-fast arangement that allows bloggers to grab paid post offers before other bloggers get the chance. The blogger then writes the review and waits for it to be approved for payment by the site. Payment comes 30 days after it has been published.

Any online reviews should be written in the general Web writing format. This will make the reviews easier to read and serve the attention span of most readers.
