Easy ways to make money for kids

WoW is like real life in that, in order to get the things you want that cost money, you have to budget for them. You should have started planning to get your epic flyer either before the expansion came out, or the moment you rolled your toon if you are a reroll (in my case). I have 2K gold and I haven’t left Azeroth yet, partially because of some lucky drops of twink items and lots of mining (thorium is great money) but also because I’ve carefully examined my expenses to determine what is and isn’t a reasonable expense.

That said, a few things:
-Mining is the best moneymaker, but in Outland is highly competitve without an epic flyer. For the best results, either go back to Azeroth and farm the high-demand low-supply (in terms of players wanting to mine them) thorium veins, or mine Fel Iron and Adamantite at offpeak hours.
-Herbalism is also good money, same rules apply about off-peak farming times but old-world herbs aren’t good sellers. Find out what’s selling, and farm it.
-Get Auctioneer. Run scans every day at peak time for a week or two, then start buying low and selling high. Use the program to undercut your competition, and to know when to sell or when to wait for prices to rise above market value. It will make you rich if you know how to use it.
-Dailies are free cash outside your server’s economy. Use them.
-Grinding things such as primals, netherweave cloth or rep items is always a sure bet for cash. As a warlock, the arguable best class in the game, you will have an easier time of this especially on a PVP server. Use your class imbalance to your advantage to control choice farming spots!
-If you have ANY quests left over, do them immediately. They will range from 10-15G depending on how much XP they gave and if they rewarded gold on top of that. If you got to 70 and did not quest in Netherstorm pre-70 at all for instance, you are looking at a grand right there. As a bonus you’ll pick up some nice gear to help your performance in PVE/PVP.
-If you want to rep up with a certain faction, do it after you’ve got your epic flyer. Ideally you’ll have gotten exalted with the Shattrath faction of your choice (Scryer/Aldor) so you can take ALL rep items and sell them. If not, worry about it after you’re zipping around on your 5 grand mount.
-If you are not in an endgame radiing guild yet, wait until after you get your epic if possible. Raiding requires you to spend time and gold gearing up, buying or making consumables, repairs, and of course the time in the raid itself you could be farming. As always its up to you where your priorities lie, and its possible to do both…just not in a timely fashion.
