Real Estate Agent

What is this job like? Back to Top

Real estate agents help people buy and sell houses. They must be able to say approximately how much money a house is worth. They need to know what the neighborhoods in their towns are like. They must know the laws that have to do with buying or selling a house. They also can tell home buyers where to get a loan if they need money to buy a house. In return for selling a house, real estate agents get to keep a small part of the money that the seller got for it. Real estate agents work for real estate brokers. Real estate brokers manage real estate offices.

People who want to buy a house often ask a real estate agent to help them. They meet with the agent to tell him or her discuss the type of house they want. They must also discuss how much money they can afford to spend. The agent then takes them to see houses for sale. Buying a house is a very important decision because houses cost a lot of money. This means that buyers often want to look at many houses before they decide to buy one.

Real estate agents also sell houses for people. They help the seller set the price for the house. To do this, they must know the condition of the house, as well as the neighborhood. They must also figure out what people would be willing to pay for the house so that it will sell easily.

Once a person agrees to buy a house, real estate agents still have work to do. They must fill out special forms that let everyone know that the house has a new owner. Both the buyer and the seller of the house must sign these forms for the sale of the house to be legal. Often, the agents must help the buyer to get a loan from the bank to pay for the house.

Real estate agents generally work in offices. Since much information about properties is available over the Internet, some agents choose to work from home. In either case, however, much of their time is spent outside the office showing houses to buyers. Good real estate agents also spend time away from the office finding out more about the houses in their town that might one day be up for sale.

Agents often work more than 40 hours a week. They often work evenings or weekends. This is because most buyers and sellers are free only at those times.

How do you get ready? Back to Top

Real estate agents must have a license from the State in which they work. To get a license, a person must have graduated from high school. The person must be at least 18 years old and pass a written test. In some States, a person who wants to be a real estate agent must go to a special school for a few months.

Good real estate agents must get along well with buyers and sellers. It helps if real estate agents are pleasant and dress neatly. They should be well organized and be able to remember people’s names. They should deal honestly with people and have good manners. They must also be very eager to sell houses, which is sometimes a lot of hard work.

How much does this job pay? Back to Top

Most real estate agents do not get a regular paycheck. Instead, they get part of the money that the home buyer pays to the home seller when a house is sold. This means that agents who sell more houses earn more money. It also means that agents who sell more expensive houses earn more.

In May 2008, real estate sales agents had average yearly wages of $54,410. Over the same period, real estate brokers had average yearly wages of $77,240.

How many jobs are there? Back to Top

Real estate agents and brokers held about 517,800 jobs in 2008. Many work part time and have other jobs as well.

Most real estate agents work in large cities. Many also work in smaller cities that are growing quickly. This is because there are more houses being bought and sold in such places.

What about the future? Back to Top

The number of jobs for real estate agents is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2018. But as more information about real estate is available on the Internet, fewer agents will be needed to conduct business.

It should be rather easy to find a job as a real estate agent. This is because many agents find that they cannot sell enough houses to be successful, so they quit their jobs. Only people who enjoy selling, and are good at it, should try to become real estate agents.

Are there other jobs like this? Back to Top

Where can you find more information? Back to Top

More BLS information about real estate brokers and sales agents can be found in the Occupational Outlook Handbook. The Handbook also shows where to find out even more about this job.

Ukrainian woman scam investigation

You have been previously scammed? Sad experience has made you more careful and concerned looking for your Ukrainian bride? Or you are just suspicious with your woman, you have some certain doubts about her actions, attitude towards you? You are not the only one, dating scams and fraud happen, and happen a lot. Men make standard mistakes when choosing, corresponding, meeting women. Why not feel more secure, get all your doubts cleared and avoid mistakes?

We have been working in online marriage agency business for more than 10 years and have precious experience that we want to share with you. We know ALL about Ukrainian women, about their culture and mentality, what they really want and how they think. In real practise we have seen the womens’ and agencies scam, their methods and tricks used. It is difficult nowadays to find genuine life partner and our goal is to make your search more successful and smooth. We at OdessaLove.com offer you private investigation, scam/fraud analyzing, mutual interest advicing services for your Ukrainian woman, we will save your money and time.

How we can help you?

– We can make a criminal record check on the person you request.

– Make correspondence, letters, profile analisis. Based on what she writes, on what you say – we will make complex research.

– If you know her contact details, we can speak with her, asking specific questions, to see if there is mutual interest, what she thinks about you and so on. Provide you with report, personal impression and our judgement.

– If you have her home address, but do not have telephone number. We can try to complete a database lookup or visit her at her address. Even our short conversation with her would give you valuable knowledge and facts.

Basic Scam examples

– asking for money in correspondence. Simple rule – do not send money before you see her. Normally Ukrainian woman wouldn’t be asking for money, even for critical reason, if you haven’t seen each other in person yet.

– money transfer tricks. Very common fraud when the woman that you know is trying to convince you that someone else got the Money transfer (Western Union, Money Gram, etc.) instead of her, emphasizing that the MTCN was exposed to someone. MTCN is actually not the most important detail to receive the transfer, the passport and physical presence of the person, to whom the transfer was intended, is is #1 requirement. It is possible to get the money without MTCN but not possible without passport and physical presense. Apply for investigation with the transfer company if happened.

– private interpreter use. When woman is very keen on using her private interpreter even when going to theater, beach, cinema or simply staying together for many hours with interpreter. Those are usual cases when woman shares money with interpreter for his “work”. Even your woman speaks very basic language, and it is hard for communication, she would try her best, if she likes being with you. In normal practise translation services are required for maximum 2-2.5 hours to discuss most important and serious topics. There are very many dishonest interpreters in the business and this happens very often especially the if interpreter is also female and friend of hers. Taking you to very expensive restaurants, making you pay for her taxi double and triple the price are also common scam scenarios.

– travel arrangements it is prefereable not to send her money for airplane tickets before she actually gets visa. All the travel tickets arrangemnt should be done by yourself. Ordering through your travel agent is cheaper than ordering in Ukraine, at first just book the tickets and send her booking page to show in the Embassy. Only she actually receives her visa (and shows to you) you can purchase your booking Other important note: do not invite the woamn whom you never met. This can be risky. It is much easier for you to travel here.

– agency fraud most dating agencies for Russian/Ukrainian women services in Internet are cheating or using fraudelent methods. To operate honest marriage agency is very hard job, when seeing tens and hundreds of them in one Ukrainian city, it is easy to guess that they are looking for easy money.
Group Tours is the worst method you can use to find the Ukrainian bride. Most women are obliged to go there, many “professionals” go there, very few serious women not attend those tours. It is more for fun than trying to find serious partner.
Agencies often use the profiles of women who do not even guess to be in that agency, thus agency making money on correspondence, fake presents and so on.
Do not always trust black list sites, they sometimes try to promote scammer sites and giving false information. Try to prove this information on other sites too.

Useful advices

– be more reasonable with age difference when looking for serious relations. 15-20 years age difference is usually great maximum. It is false opinion that all women in Ukraine accept any age difference. When you are 60 and writing to 25 year old girl, she tells you that she likes you and wants to get married right away, this is in most cases not true or likes for some “other reasons”. Do not expose yourself to scam, be more reasonable.

– Women exposing their bodies, bikini or nude photos… And you look for serious woman for marriage. You think those women are seriously looking for marriage? No normal serious woman would do that. Communicating with those women you expose yourself to risk of scam.

– When corresponding with someone, look for exact details in her letter, for dates, names, facts. If you do not find that in all her letters, it is probably agency writing letters for her.

Make Money Online Surveys Scam

Is there a way I can make money online without filling stupid scam surveys?

I wonder how many of you are actually the scammers themselves…
Wow, every single one of you has a profile filled with nothing but answers promoting paid survey websites. I can’t trust any of you. This paid survey stuff is just bogus, and you all are scammers.
Finally, genuine people who are actually speaking against online surveys and not crazily endorsing them!!!

Hi! Im sure there are actually some paid survey sites that are legit, but i have never done any so cant comment.

One way you can make some money online is by making your own website or blog. Then advertise on it, or sell something on it.

I make money by selling other peoples products on my website. The products i sell are from clickbank.com and i dont pay anything to use them. Go to clickbank.com and search for a product you have an interest in. Then make a blog about it telling people why they should buy it. If someone buys it from your blog you will get paid for it.

The links in my resource box will help you to set up a website or blog and help you set up selling a clickbank product. Scroll down to the post about setting up a money making website. Hope that helps. Im sure there are many other ways to make some money online if this doesnt suit you though. Good luck!

Jeffrey Lant Is A Scam Artist Beware!

Jeffrey Lant Is A Scam Artist Beware!

It is one thing to make money online with private ad sales, but it is another thing to do so by accepting ads onto my blog that promote services that are total scams and fraud. With my private ad sales increasing as well as the requests to take full advantage of the advertisement programs being offered on my blog, I now know that I need to be very careful and selective with who I accept into my program.

Today I invested some time into following the links of all my private advertiser’s sites. There was one advertiser who caught my eye in particular. The advertiser was promoting a site called, LiveBizwebcast. This is a website that is part of Jeffrey Lant’s huge live webcast affiliate marketing scam. It is a lure to drive people into their live webcast where Jeffrey Lant and a few select people assigned to his scam team attempt to rob people out of over $1200 dollars of their hard earned money.

When I visited the site that is patched into the huge network hosted by Jeffrey Lant, I could quickly see right through him. His purpose is simple: Collect as much money for as many people as possible. Quickly after logging in, I was addressed live on the webcast by Jeffrey Lant and quickly I was pushed into his product order page. I played the game as if I were just a regular visitor and for the hell of it, I decided to let him walk me through his little scam process from start to finish.

First and foremost, before we go any further, I strongly recommend that you take less than 30 seconds to subscribe to my free mailing list. This isn’t your average mailing list, this one is different. On my mailing list I provide subscribers will premium grade content that I typcally sell for a fee on my blog. I write about a lot of really great things on my blog, but the really good stuff costs money. If you would like to receive free copies of my premium articles by email, you can get them all for free when you join for free. Oh, also for joining, I have a free and instant download waiting for you.Â

Immediately I was asked by Jeffrey Lant, “Do you want to make money online?” Sure! I replied. “My next webcast starts in one hour, stick around and watch the entire show and you will be giving 50,000 free web site visitors to your web site of choice!”, say Lant. “All you have to do is watch my show from start to finish, you don’t even have to buy anything. This is my gift to you just for watching the show”.

Fine whatever, so as I was doing maintenance on a few of my own sites, I had the show opened up and minimized in a separate window. After 30 minutes of listening to this little pathetic looking troll with eyeglasses, he then directed everyone back to the main lobby. There was a about 60 people including myself logged in and listening to his show.

Moving back to the main lobby, quickly him and his top sales associate, Jim Carpenter, were working aggressively towards closing sales of their $1200 dollar product. The sad thing is that a few people were actually buying. I feel so terrible for those folks that wasted their money. Then Lant asked me what my intentions were. I told him that I have given him my valued time; however, at this time I am not interested in purchasing your product. I am however, still interested in the bonus you offered me for watching the show.

Immediately after that, all hell broke loose. He called me names, and told everyone in the room, “here is an example of a person who has zero skills or intelligence in the business, he’s just a guy that want to rob me and score his free gift”, said Lant. “It doesn’t work that way Garry Conn. I give out the free bonuses to the people that buy the product! These are the people that deserve my gifts!”, continued Jeffrey Lant.

He further continued with his trollish rampage by saying, “You have been very uncooperative and quite honestly a pain in my ass for the last 90 minutes you have been logged in. I am done speaking with you and as far as your time is concerned, everyone invests their time into something!”

So, you know, Jeffrey Lant is right about one thing, people do invest their time into things. I have chosen to invest my time into calling him out and placing a warning message for people who read and or will pass through my blog in the future. Do not buy anything from Jeffrey Lant. He is a scam artist, he is rude, he is a troll and he is only concerned with taking money from people who are too ignorant to see the big picture of his operation.

Black money scam

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This article needs additional citations for verification.

The black money scam, sometimes also known as the ‘wash wash scam’, is a scam where con artists attempt to fraudulently obtain money from a victim by persuading him or her that piles of banknote-sized paper in a trunk or a safe is really money which has been dyed black (e.g. to avoid detection by customs). The victim is persuaded to pay for chemicals to wash the “money” with a promise that he will share in the proceeds.

The black money scam first appeared around the year 2000. It is yet another variation of what is known as advance fee fraud.

  • 1 Phases of the scam
    • 1.1 First contact
    • 1.2 Advance fees: the fraud starts
    • 1.3 A trunk full of black money?
    • 1.4 Victim goes to see the “money”
    • 1.5 Washing a small sample of the black “money”
    • 1.6 More funds needed to pay for washing chemical fluid
    • 1.7 Delay after delay, more fees, no money
    • 1.8 Reporting of the crime
    • 1.9 Terminology used in the scam
  • 2 Chemicals used

  • 4 External links

[edit] Phases of the scam [edit] First contact

Typically the scammer will send out thousands, if not millions of e-mails to known and random e-mail addresses, hoping for a few replies. The initial message may read something like this:

I am a lawyer in Belgium and I am charged with seeking the rightful heir to certain assets which were deposited many years ago with a security company here in Brussels by a man who died a few years ago. We have made extensive searches to find any living heirs, but without success. A man with your name is named in the Will and Testament as being the only beneficiary of these assets. We believe that you may be the person entitled and are writing to enquire if you have any dead relatives or friends who may have named you as a beneficiary of these assets in their will and testament. If so please let us have their names and any other information so we can check if you are indeed the beneficiary. The amount of the assets is $150’000, and one large trunk, contents unknown. Please reply immediately

Sometimes however, the scammer resorts to directly approaching the victim.

[edit] Advance fees: the fraud starts

As the communications between the two parties continue, it will become necessary for certain fees and expenses to be paid, including government taxes, or death duties. In reality, there are no such taxes to be paid. However the need to pay fees or taxes is used as an excuse to make any free funds vanish, and/or to extract funds from the victim.

[edit] A trunk full of black money?

Eventually by various means and devices the victim will be persuaded that the trunk contains a very large amount of cash which had a legitimate, or not so legitimate, reason for all this money to be in cash. Furthermore, the money has all been stained black to avoid detection by customs. A valid reason for this will be given: “The deceased traded in African artifacts and had to pay for some expensive items in cash before he died. To avoid customs problems and theft the money had to be stained black” The victim is assured that the chemical needed for washing the money is also in the trunk.

The victim may have already coughed up some money to pay fees and taxes, and he may now be invited to pay the shipping expenses of the trunk to his home country. Whether paid or not, the trunk will not be shipped and further sums will be demanded on various pretexts, such as taxes, security company fees, money transfer fees, legalization fees, export permissions, etc. The list is endless.

[edit] Victim goes to see the “money”

When at some point the victim is having doubts, or showing reluctance to pay any more, he will be invited to inspect the contents of the safety deposit trunk himself. With much ceremony and pomp, the box will be opened to reveal the black paper. The victim will be informed that these are banknotes stained black with an almost unwashable chemical but that a chemical exists which can clean the banknotes.

[edit] Washing a small sample of the black “money”

Then the conman will produce a small vial of the washing liquid and ask the victim to select any black bank note at random. This done, the conman proceeds to wash the banknote in the chemical, performing a sleight of hand, substituting real note which is washed. There will be insufficient liquid to wash any more money, or the conman may “accidentally” knock the bottle over on the floor.

[edit] More funds needed to pay for washing chemical fluid

The victim cannot take away the trunk, or any notes, since he is informed that the taxes have not been paid, but once the notes are “washed”, it will be easy to pay the taxes and there will be millions left over. The victim is persuaded that he must buy the chemical to wash the notes, and of course the chemical cleaning fluid is “very expensive”. Once again the victim parts with money to the fraudster. Sometimes the fraudsters will set up a website purporting to be a seller of the cleaning fluid, which obviously has such a unique and unusual name that it can not be found anywhere else. This adds to the credibility of the story and the victim may even contact the website directly to buy the fluid, allowing the conmen yet another chance to con the victim.

[edit] Delay after delay, more fees, no money

The fraudsters will continue to find excuses as to why the victim cannot have his money just yet, but will always promise it after one “last and absolutely final step”, which obviously involves the payment of yet another fee by the victim. The scammers will continue to milk the victim until they are sure he has no more money, and that he cannot get any by begging and borrowing from friends or banks, or until the victim realizes that he is being scammed, and gets the police involved. Needless to say, the fraudsters themselves, and the victim’s money, are usually long gone by the time the police are involved.

[edit] Reporting of the crime

Most such frauds are not reported by the victims for several reasons. Firstly they may feel terribly ashamed that they could be so naà ve. Secondly, many of the scams will involve the victim knowingly agreeing to receive the proceeds of a crime – e.g. he may be informed that it is drug money, tax evasion money, or simply stolen. Sometimes the scammer will have persuaded the victim to incriminate himself, e.g. by falsifying a document, or lying on a tax declaration etc. The victim may thus be reluctant to come forward and admit that he was knowingly participating in what he thought was a criminal scheme.

[edit] Terminology used in the scam

  • The defaced money
    • Anti-breeze bank notes
    • Black Money
  • The chemical
    • S.S.D. Solution
    • Vectrol Paste
    • Tebi-Manetic
    • Humine Powder

[edit] Chemicals used

A Ghanaian native caught perpetrating the scam revealed to ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross the tricks of the trade:[1] Real hundred dollar bills are coated with a protective layer of Elmer’s glue, and then dipped into a solution of tincture of iodine. The bill, when dried, looks and feels like black construction paper. The trunk full of notes are real construction paper; When the victim picks a “note” for cleaning, it is switched with the iodine coated note. The “magic cleaning solution” is actually crushed vitamin C tablets dissolved in water. In another arrest, ordinary raspberry cool drink was found to be the “magic cleaning solution”.

Make Money Posting Links On Google is a SCAM!!

Hi I have just spent about a hour reading site/comments. This is not a scam just the same as clean eazy and all those other deliver catalogues earn  50 a hour all you have todo is shell out the upfront fees of like  50 scam? no!.

This is the reason the police/google/fbi/ya mom wont do anything as they do offer you a product for your money that you can make money from they could charge you 1 penny for it and then 1 million after 7 days it would not make it any more or less legal.

Anyone know of jamster on every summer when the kids break up from school all you do is text them and in the small print it then says your signed up for  4.50 a week recurring scam? no!.

Have you ever seen a job earn 10-18k OTE(on target earnings) so if you only made 10k in a year would this be a scam because you didnt make 18k?

If apples where selling for 1mill each and i sold you a pack of apple seeds for 10 mill and the tree didnt grow would i then be scamming you as i had said people who grow these trees make 50 million?. Also add the cost of a field and a tracktor etc etc which i didnt tell you about when i sold you the seeds which you can buy from me at a excelent members discount. So at the end your like 50 mill out of pocket dead apple tree and a tractor and a field to show for it all did i scam you? no!

Now i normaly dont post on the internet as it is filled with enough rubbish as it is but i felt this needs to be pointed out you are not being scammed you are just not getting as much as fast as you want for the price you were paying or future costs involved. My advice to you guys who think you are being scammed is get together pool your funds start a business whatever just stop thinking your going to turn 2$ into 7k a month.

There are plenty of ways to make money online but it takes time and effort possibly more time and effort than a normal job would for a possible lower return.

I have made money from free to play online games and i have made money from paid to pay online games. There are mystery shopping companies out there who will pay you to eat out go shopping etc but it isnt going to make you rich.

But on a serious note go do a rubbish job for 6 months save the money do a business plan goto bank ask them to match your investement supported by a well fleshed out business plan and then take proper control over your life instead of thinking these things will solve your troubles.

This isnt meant to offend anyone who feels as though they have been scammed and you can take solace in the fact that you havnt you just paid alot of money to learn a way of making money on the net as a previous poster said they make money from adsense it takes time and effort todo he even told you what he did so if your smart and realy want to make money from adsense do that you will make money just not alot maybe.

to all those that have signed up you can take a bit of comfort in the fact that even though the company has low businness morals they are still a legit company so you prolly have a little bit of time to change your info before it goes out the back door which i suspect happens after you cancle membership maybe.

To those who say that the terms of service didnt state the extra fees well you need to find those terms of service screen shot print off and take to bank and say that the payment was a erronious transfer the bank will refund you instantly and chase the company for the money.

And to those who think google should remove them from the wibly wobly web well tbh why would they bother it actually advertises a google product which they do make money from.

So to conclude if you realy realy dont like how these guys opperate then you need to fight them using trading laws and legislation for example many people have said they never rrecieved the initial pack those people need to complain to trading standards etc if enough complaints get put forward then they will be investigated and dealt with as appropriate untill then they are a legit company.

And for those wondering about having to abide by cyprus law dont to trade in other countries they as a company have to abide by international and your countries laws to trade there i.e you can sell certain things in some countries but not all like weed in amsterdam if they sent it into your country they are then breaking the laws of your country.

Anyhows peace out all and dont believe everything you read.

Make Money Taking Surveys Scam?

Is the website Make Money Taking Surveys a scam site? I was very skeptical about this site at first and felt that it might be too good to be true. Luckily, I still went ahead to sign up as a member and have found their surveys to be very well worth taking. Compared to other methods of earning an income like working in an office, profiting from surveys is much easier and fun in my opinion, and I can also choose to work whenever I want.

1. How to Start Earning with the Make Money Taking Surveys Website?

When you sign up as a member of the website, you will be required to provide some of your personal details for profiling. This is because not all surveys are meant for everyone, thus you will only be able to take those that suit your profile. Some examples of the details you will need to provide are your occupation, age, income, educational level, interests and your geographical location.

When surveys are available for taking, members will be informed and receive their questionnaires through their email account. Completion of the surveys will be recorded in a database, after which companies will send out payments to members who have reached a certain payment amount.

2. Advantages of the Make Money Taking Surveys Site

It has become much more convenient and faster for companies to send their survey forms to members through the internet. It has also become possible for these companies to reach customers from all over the world. This explains why making money with surveys has become so popular today.

3. Why Do Companies Pay Us to Take Surveys?

Companies use surveying as a form of market research. They pay people who take them a fee so as to compensate for their time. With the opinions of their target customers, companies can then cater their promotional and marketing campaigns to generate maximize response from their target consumers.
