Easy ways to make money for kids

Friends and family are always asking me “How to make money using Google Adwordsâ€. It’s funny because about 8 months ago they all thought I was crazy when I told them about Affiliate Marketing and making money online. Look who is laughing now.

Due to my success I recently decided to give back to my family and friends by sharing the methods I use to generate a decent amount of money with marketing products using Google Adwords. Over the course of two weeks I formulated a plan of action that is easy to understand and implement. I wanted to keep it simple with very few steps without sacrificing important information.

I tested this exact method with several family members and helped them when needed to see what kind of results they would achieve. The results were remarkable. Each began to make sales within days of going live with their Adwords campaigns.

Only if I had this information when I started†it would have saved me a lot of money and time.

If you are interested in making money online or have tried but failed then I encourage you to use the 5 steps I am about to show you. If you ever had the question “How to make money using Google Adwords†you are in luck because here is a simple proven process laid out for you to use.

Before we begin it is critical that you understand one key point. The key to any successful pay-per-click campaign is research. I cannot stress this enough folks. How can you sell your product if you do not know who your market is? You must research to find out who your market is, what problems are they having and how your product can solve their problems. If you can provide a product or service that targets their problems you will make thousands!!

So let’s get started.

Step One – Research a new Niche Market

1. Check magazines (magazines are a great place to research what people want)

2. Check if Niche Market has affiliate programs

3. Check Alexa ranking for each affiliate program (this will tell you traffic for the affiliate program)

4. Check several related affiliate programs to compare content and offering

5. Answer Questions:

a. Does the market have demand?

b. Who is market audience?

c. What does market want or need?

d. What problems do they have?

e. How can this product/service solve these problems

f. Can you cross sale products?

Step Two – Analyze Data

1. Is there a demand?

2. Are there affiliate programs to supply the demand?

3. What products are advertisers promoting within this industry?

4. What keywords are they using?

5. Product Quality

a. Research what people are saying through forums, review websites, news groups, etc.

6. Do the affiliate sites have an Alexa Ranking below 100,000?

Step Three – Research keywords

1. Make a list of benefits

2. Get keywords from magazine ads

3. Forums & User Groups

a. What are hot topics?

b. What problems are people having or needing answers to?

c. What advice is hot?

d. Does topic have a lot of replays or views in the forums?

4. Check competitors websites

a. Check their website for keyword patterns (if keyword is used three or more times then they may be promoting that keyword and making money from it)

5. Check search volume per keyword

6. Check Google/Yahoo Ranking

7. Are there many Adword campaigns?

8. CPC (Cost Per Click) vs. Commission

Step Four – Create Landing Page (website tailored for your product/service)

1. Develop landing page focused on providing supply for the demand based on research

2. Use keywords found from research in content

Step Five – Create PPC Campaign

1. Develop campaign around niche market

2. Create ad groups with 20 or less keywords

3. Use keywords in title and body of ad

4. Split test ad groups between two different products and websites

5. Test, test and test

If you apply all this steps, you can make money with anything online. Like I said earlier, the key is research. If you spend time and learn about your market you will make a lot of money. If you get lazy and skip this critical step you are sure to waste a lot of money or make very little. This is something that Kyle and Carson with Wealthy Affiliates taught me and now I pass it to you.

I don’t buy anything from E-Bay any more, and tell everyone I know to avoid them also.

It is not about the people who charge $29.95 for shipping when it only cost $4 in postage, I always avoided those ripoffs, as I think most sinceable people do.

The problem occurred when I changed my email address. When I first signed up for E-bay to make purchanses, I had a “private” email address from “Net Address” (aka usa.com). When this company doubled their rate for less than half the service I get from Yahoo, I dropped them and signed up with an address with Yahoo that allows me to use POP-3 and SMTP to send and receive emails via a client (such as Exchange, Outlook, Eudora, etc).

When I told Ebay that I was changing my email address, they demanded that I provide them with a credit card number to verify my identity. I said no, and they refused my change.

E-Bay “claims” that if you have a non-private email address, they must have a credit card number to verify one’s identity. The problem I have with that is the fact that the credit card that I use for online purchases protects me against fraudulent charges “when making a purchase”. Using a credit card for “identification” is not making a purchase and I have no guarantee that should my information get misused, that I will be reimbursed for fraudulent charges.

Until E-bay changes its ways, I will never ever buy another E-bay item and tell everyone I know to avoid them also.

If you wish to continue to sell E-bay items, I highly suggest that all of you contact E-bay and tell them to change their methods of verifying ID.

Here are a bunch of ways that young ones — ideally teens, though some ideas may work well for clever pre-teens, too — can earn extra cash, excerpted from our spiffy Teens and Their Money area. (Send any teens you know there for a vast array of helpful — and free — guidance):

• Petsitting. When someone in your neighborhood goes on vacation, there’s often a pet that needs looking after. Also, with people working longer and longer hours these days, some will pay you to visit their pets during the day and take them for a walk. You might be able to put a small flyer advertising your services at a local pet store, such as Petco (Nasdaq: PETC) or Motley Fool Stock Advisor pick PetSmart (Nasdaq: PETM).
• Tutoring. Some teens report that they earn anywhere from $5 to $20 per hour tutoring. If you’re good at a subject, you may be able to earn money by helping others to understand it.
  
• Jobs matching your interests. If you enjoy working with young children, see if any day care centers near you need help. If you like the great outdoors, check with your local parks department. If you like movies or recreation, look into movie theaters or amusement parks.
• Serve the elderly. Not only might you find work in a nursing home or retirement community, but you might also serve older people in your neighborhood. Many older people can’t get around much. They may welcome your services delivering groceries, running errands, or doing odd jobs around their home.
• Be a computer guru. Many people buy computers and have a lot of trouble setting them up and trying to use them. Even if you have an intermediate familiarity with computers, you might offer your services as a local computer consultant. You can set things up, solve problems, answer questions, teach programs, and show people how to send and organize email, upload digital photos, buy something on Amazon.com, use Instant Messaging, or conduct online searches.
• Caddy at a golf course. This not only helps you learn more about a sport you might enjoy, it also gives you the chance meet a lot of adults from whom you might learn more about the business world. They could turn out to be valuable connections that help you land other jobs.
• Delivering newspapers. If you sign up to deliver a lot (which may be more possible in areas with apartment buildings), you can make a good bit of money. Some teens make $100 or $200 per week or more.
• Use your skills. Think about what you’re good at and try to teach others — adults or children. You might offer piano lessons, horseback riding lessons, or Spanish lessons. Maybe you can juggle and entertain at children’s birthday parties. If you play an instrument, perhaps you could play at weddings or other events. If you write, you could try to sell articles to magazines or newspapers.
• Volunteer! If all else fails, or even as a first choice, consider volunteering. Don’t just do the first thing that pops into your mind, though. Be a strategic volunteer. Think of a field or company you’d like to learn more about. If you’re really concerned about hunger in the world, volunteer at a food bank. If you’re thinking about becoming a doctor (perhaps one who treats the elderly), consider volunteering at a hospital (or a nursing home).

I‘ve so far not believed nonseses, where you get light money, say a promotional page attendance and for the money come from. This method is really very risky to

5)Sell products online through affiliate marketing

Many online retailers are looking for affiliates. Affiliates are webmasters who advertise the online retailers products using their websites or articles. The amazon links to the right are a prime example. Many people have had success earning a living online using their website to market other peoples product and getting a commission on the sales. Commissons vary from company to company. The advantages are that you don’t have to worry about stocks or shipping but the disadvantages are its easily copied and hard to make a good living. This website is a good starting point if you want to find out more.

6)Sell products online using drop shipping

If you don’t fancy affiliate marketing you can always try drop shipping. This requires working with a partner often in China and India who manufacture and ship the product for you to your customer. You set up the website and attract the customers and they do the rest. The problem can be that the products may not always be of the highest quality and you have a partner a million miles away who you’ve never met. 7)Domaining

Since the real estate market in real life has gone bottoms up why not try out the online real estate market. This involves buying domain names or websites changing them or building a site on them and selling them on. This requires knowledge of the internet market and the ability to predict trends but there are a lot of people who make a pretty penny doing this on the net. Make money taking online surveys

This is the method I despise most. No offence to anyone that does it full time!!But, the earnings suck, most companies are scams and you learn nothing doing it. Its mind numbing and boring, of all the people I have read about who stuck with this no one has had much good to say about it. The only reason I mentioned it in this list is because I’m sure you have read about it already, Don’t waste your time, skip past this method!If your sure that this is the method for you(maybe you love giving your opinion about new products) check out this article its the best I have found.

9) Lead generation

This is another type of affiliate marketing but the product in this case is often something high cost and long term like a new car, mortgage or university course. It involves sending leads to a sales man who follows up on them. Sometimes you get money just for the lead and you always get money if they buy. If you are blogging about financial products or education this can be a very lucrative income. This article is a great starting point if you want to use this method.

10)Selling books and products from home

A lot of people have an eye for a good product, unfortunately Im not one of them. These are the people who can see the value in junk at garage sales or who can set the trend when it comes to clothes. Nowadays a lot of people are making money selling on ebay. If you have knowledge about or acess to a niche product and think you could turn a profit on it why not set up an ebay sellers account and put it up for sale? What’s the worst that can happen? If you have a lot of books you would like to get rid of check this article out. It has some of the best ways to sell books online.

There are many guides on how to quickly earn World of Warcraft gold. But if you know your game, you’d immediately see that most of them are crap. Imagine, a good number of them promise to make you a millionaire – at least in the world of Azeroth – but once you start reading what they have to offer, you’d just encounter things that you’ve already known since you were killing thunder lizards in the Barrens.

1. You start as a penniless level 1. Go grind, while leveling up at the same time. Avoid spending on anything but the necessary training. Your immediate goal is to earn 50 silvers. Once you have 50 silvers, go to Ironforge and look for Outfitter Eric. Just ask any of the guards where the tailor is, and Outfitter Eric should be in the said vicinity. You will buy the pattern for Tuxedo Jacket. Tuxedo Jackets are popular novelty items in the game, and every tailor would want to learn how to make one. The problem is, not every tailor knows where to buy the pattern. Most of them think that it’s a rare drop. But not you! Buy the pattern for 50s, then sell it for 2 to 3g! That’s an immediate 400% to 600% profit! Rinse and repeat!

2. Using the method above, you can proceed with the other patterns of the Tuxedo set, all of which can purchase from Outfitter Eric. The pattern for Tuxedo Pants can be sold for 2 to 3g. The pattern for Tuxedo Short is a little cheaper, but will still yield quite a profit per sale!

3. Once you have amassed around 20g, it’s time to play the market. Download a mod entitled Auctioneer. There’s one at warcraftwarzone.com. With this mod, you can survey the auction house. You can see the average selling price for items, and more importantly, you can pinpoint which item is being sold at lower the average selling price. Auctioneer is the secret of gold farmers and rich WoW players. Buy low and sell high. It’s fun, it’s easy, and it’s 100% profitable! You need initial capital of course, but by following the previous 2 steps, you’d be good to go.

4. Train to be an enchanter. Download the Enchantrix add on from warcraftwarzone.com. Now use auctioneer to survey the AH for green items being sold at low, low prices. Then use Enchantrix to see what these items will disenchant to. Compare. Are the disenchanted materials worth more than the cost for the items? Often, the difference is worth its weight in gold, literally speaking!

5. The humanoids you will battle from level 1 to 15 will drop Linen Cloth. Linen Cloth may seem like a common item, but it’s not. You can sell a stack of 20 for as much as 50s, depending on your server’s economy. Why so high? It’s because higher leveled World of Warcraft players need Linen Cloth for rep points, and they’re too lazy to grind for the same. Also, other low level players need Linen Cloth as well: tailors for bolts of cloth and others for bandages. So collect as much Linen Cloth as you can. Grind for them if you must. Then sell for a lot of profit. You can easily get 5 to 7 stacks of Linen Cloth within an hour.

These are just a few of the tricks for fast World of Warcraft gold. They’re meant for low level characters at that. There are hundreds of other techniques to earn tons and tons of World of Warcraft gold.

I wish I’d had access to such a book when I was starting out. It would have been great to have a constant supply of ideas and information to help me along the way.

Before I tell you about the book, let me tell you a little about me…

I started writing poetry just five years ago. I actually ‘fell into it’ by accident. I was at a folk festival looking for somewhere to have breakfast when I noticed a sign saying ‘Poets Breakfast’

I thought, I’ll just eat a quick breakfast and head off to see what else I could find. At the time, I wasn’t a big fan of poetry.

So I wandered in, ordered my breakfast and started looking through my festival programme. That was until the poetry started.

Hey, this was not the boring stuff they’d dished up to us at school. (Do you remember having to learn poems ‘by-heart’ or take turns around the classroom reciting one line at a time!) Not this lot! It was interesting, fresh, sometimes sad, but mostly fun.

I was instantly hooked! Every morning I sat glued to my seat to hear what these poets, both experienced and novice had to share. After the third breakfast, I went back to my tent and wrote my first ‘humorous’ poem.

It then took me another year to find the courage to perform it, along with a couple of others I had written. It was a knee-trembling experience I can tell you. Not knowing if anyone would find my poetry at all funny. Luckily for me, I was well received (and even encouraged by the more ‘seasoned’ performers) and I’ve been writing and performing ever since.

It’s been and continues to be an interesting journey. The learning curve has been a bit steep at times and I’ve made my share of mistakes (a couple of whoppers too). I’m not saying that I have nothing more to learn. I aim to learn something new every day from those who have taken their poetry further than me.

With three published books, a CD and the Funny Poets website, I’m now enjoying getting out from behind the desk and performing more. I entertain at festivals and poetry events and have introduced many new audiences including business and professional people to the pleasures of humorous poetry.

I love becoming involved locally as well and have run poetry events in our small town that, to my delight have been sell-outs!

My aim is to bring more laughter to the world and every time I hear the audience chuckle, I know I’m heading in the right direction!

What’s more, the income that I earn through poetry, now enables my husband and I to be full-time parents to our pre-school aged daughter and to enjoy a truly relaxed lifestyle.

We have the freedom to work when we want to, travel when the urge takes us and plan our work around our life (instead of having to plan our life around our work).

My aim is not to make a fortune, (I already have a lifestyle that I love), it is to share this information with other poets who may be like I was; wanting to earn a little bit of extra money to contribute to the household.

I wouldn’t have dreamed that the ‘little’ would turn into a ‘lot’ and that I would become the main bread-winner of the family!

It’s a great relief to be able to do what I enjoy and not have to worry about the money.

You may already be in that position…good on you! But for most, poetry is a hobby that brings great pleasure and personal satisfaction…..only AFTER your work is done.

Wouldn’t it be great to have the freedom to write, to perform or to promote poetry (whatever is your passion), whenever you wanted to, without the limitation of time? I can show you how.

You’re fortunate to be in a better position that I was five years ago. I had to learn it all myself. There was no manual or ‘how-to’ book when I started out (or if there was, I didn’t know about it!).

Can you see why I get excited!

I love hearing the stories of people who have been encouraged into action by the ideas I have offered. Some are just seeking a little extra money to pay the bills, others want to be a big success in their field.

INTRODUCTION

Throughout the world there are thousands, no tens of thousands of frustrated poets. Why? As a poet myself, I can only guess at an answer.

Whilst many poets write purely for the love of writing, to put their thoughts out onto paper, many more long to share their work with others.

Be it to give a gift from their soul, to entertain, or to receive the acclamation and praise we all secretly desire. Whatever their reason, whatever your reason, I’ve written this book to encourage you to put your work ‘out there’ too!

So often we keep our talents hidden away. I believe this is a most selfish act, as poetry can teach, heal and bring joy to others. So if you wish to remain a ‘closet poet’, then read no further.

If however, you want to reach out and touch others, see their tears of joy or sadness and know that just a few words, your few words, have moved them to feel this emotion, then read on! Once you have some ideas about which way you want to go with your poetry, there is an enormous amount of information available to help you further, whether it’s how to publish your book, writing for magazines, publishing your work or gaining confidence in front of a crowd.

Surf the web, join a writers group, study performance poets. Read, Listen, Ask and Learn…become a student again!

Although a poet, I do not consider myself a writer, so please, if you’re looking for a literary masterpiece, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. If you look hard for typos and grammatical errors, then you’re certain to unearth a few. (Feel free to email them to me for correction!)
