Money making guide – The RuneScape Wiki

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

This Money making guide provides players with a list of ideas that can help them make money in RuneScape. When using this guide, players should keep in mind that the economy of RuneScape is constantly changing, which means that not all of the information given here will be completely accurate. Although the vast majority of these methods were and still are accurate for many of the players who’ve contributed to sharing these methods, they are not guaranteed to work for every single player. Making money can be a long and arduous process, so bearing in mind that no matter how fast and effective one method may be, it still takes time and patience to earn and hold onto large amounts of money.

Before you make your first edit or addition, please view the guidelines for adding information. These are so that these guides may be as effective and accurate as possible in helping players.

Also, please make sure that Free-to-play methods are found under both sections as members may still wish to use them as references, but that no Pay-to-play methods should be found under free-to-play sections.

Tips and hints

  • The RuneScape Official Forums or the forums of a clan site can be used to help money makers buy and sell items more efficiently and easily.
  • The Grand Exchange in the specified trade worlds (Worlds 1-6, etc.) is the busiest trading centre for both free players and members, and as such, can help players find the item they need quicker.
  • There is a four hour limit for re-selling or re-buying the same item repeatedly via the Grand Exchange.
  • As Jagex releases more and more items into the game, and more time is passed allowing players to earn more and more items, supply is increased and therefore demand is decreased. Because of this, most items gradually lower in price after introduction. This means that if you hold on to a large stack of coins rather than a bunch of items that you never use, you will notice over time that you will be able to afford more at the current time than before.
  • There is an 8-hour limit for repeatedly buying & selling Barrows armour.
  • Certain items which are not tradeable over the Grand Exchange can still be bought and sold normally from other players.
  • There is a limit to buying 2 discontinued items every 4 hours.
  • When buying/selling items through the Grand Exchange, it’s helpful if you buy items for a few GP higher or sell for a few GP lower. This way, you can automatically place your trade at the head of all the market price offers.
  • A general equation for determining the amount of profit or loss is: where . If k is negative then players are losing money. In order to use this equation to determine how much one would make players need to give values to the variables. I is the initial investment; t is the number of times that you are going to perform your “method”; this will then give you F which is the final price.
    • i.e.: Assume one has 5,000 coins. Materials cost 500 coins and the product sells for 1,000 coins. You want to do this 5 times, this gives you F = 5000 * e^(ln(2)*5), which comes out to 160,000 coins.

FREE Squidoo Guide Here!

Few weeks ago, I wrote an article “ Step By Step Guide How To Make Money Online Using Free Methods “.

In the article, I shared with you where to find your niche, how to check if the niche you pick has any money there to be made, build your information site, how to promote your site, and how to monitor the traffic coming to your site using Google Analytics.

I did not mention about Squidoo. In this short post, I will briefly talk about Squidoo and tell you why you should use it.

Squidoo is a high-traffic and high-authority website which has thousands of web pages (Squidoo refers pages as lenses) about any topic you can imagine. Anyone can make a lens or as many as they like for FREE!

I’m not going to teach you how to create Squidoo lens here as I have found a FREE Squidoo Guide that can teach you how to do that much better than me, and you can download it for free (just click on the above hyperlink).

You see one of my Squidoo lenses “ How To Earn Extra Income Online ” as an example. I created this lens last year and it still brings me some money every now and then. I did spend few hours writing the article and created the lens… but it’s well worth the effort!

Here the reasons WHY you should use Squidoo….

1. It’s one of the best FREE sites that allow you to make money online without spending money. All you need is a free email address and then create your Squidoo’s account.

2. It shares its advertising revenue with you. The advertising revenue mostly comes from Adsense ads. When you create a lens, related ads are automatically placed on it. When people visit your lens and click on the Adsense ads, Squidoo will share the income with you. So make sure you have a PayPal account because Squidoo pays you through PayPal.

3. Google loves Squidoo. If you create lenses targeting on long-tail keywords, your lenses can gain top spot on Google’s search result.

4. It comes integrated with a cool traffic stats. You will be able to see how many people visit your lens, where do your visitors come from and what keywords do they use to find your lens (see the screenshot below).

squidoo traffic stats

To sum up, Squidoo is a great website for those who want to make money online without spending money. If you’re currently running a brick and mortal (traditional) business, go and create a Squidoo Account and start building lenses to share and promote your business online. Many people have been doing that. You’re going to miss out if you don’t.

P.S. Don’t forget to DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE SQUIDOO GUIDE!

Here is to your success.

A New FREE World of Warcraft Gold Guide

The demand for strategies on how to effectively make gold on World of Warcraft is very high. Players are paying hundreds of real dollars to buy thousands of online gold. Gold-selling advertisers spend big bucks to drive traffic to their sites, but selling gold wrecks the in-game economy. Not to mention it’s a violation of the Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement of the game, and can result in having the player account banned.

Because of the need for gold-making strategies, various gold guides have been created. These guides are the response to the illegal gold trade, and usually contain valid, useful information on how to LEGALLY make gold in the game. The prices of the guides vary wildly, from as little as $5 to as much as $50.

On the expensive end of the spectrum, the guides tend to be thick and pretty. But often the thickness comes in the form of filler. A 4-page list of what vendors sell what rare recipes is an easy way to ‘bulk up’ a guide, even though the value it offers is miniscule. Some guides make liberal use of graphics to increase their size without adding value.

Even though the expensive guides may be more fluff than they are worth, the content is usually still pretty good. The high-end guides have an obligation to keep their guides updated, which is necessary considering the number of changes that Blizzard has implemented in the game. Some of the cheaper guides will sometimes offer out-dated advice, such as farming Scarlet Monestary cemetary for green and blue drops to disenchant. (Blizzard nerfed that place a year ago, and the mobs only drop copper, but I still see guides that recommend that as a gold-making strategy).

The exception to that rule about cheap sites is http://www.makewowgold.com. It was always priced ‘for the price of a burger’…much cheaper than many other strategy guides, yet is continuously updated. The author claims he just wanted to recover some costs for web-hosting and his time, not retire to the Caribbean.

But the competition for gold guides is so high now, and few of them contain ‘new’ information. They all contain the same tips, for the most part. Some are ‘beefier’ than others, but that just means that the guides are filled with strategies that are not as good. There are really only a few best practices. So, in the spirit of getting the information in the hands of the players reasonably, MakeWoWGold is providing a free username/password right on its main page.

This is the first time a Warcraft Gold Guide that once charged a fee is being offered for free. And while the site is not perfect, and is not huge, the core content is solid and worth a read. It covers the basics of Auction House sales, mobs to kill, Professions, etc. Its focus is educational…teaching players HOW to think about making gold, in addition to the basic “go here and kill X”. There is a “Myth” section which helps correct some wrong-headed thinking that many players have about making gold.

One of the advantages to having a cheap, or even free wow gold guide is that most of the expensive guides offer money-back guarantees. So, if you read the free guide, and learn a bunch of strategies, then buy an expensive guide and it has mainly the same strategies, you can get a refund for the expensive guide…with a clean conscience, since it did not really teach you anything new. So if you think that those expensive guides really do have a secret that a free guide does not, you are a little safer to try them out since you have a legitimate reason to ask for a refund if there is really very little new information.

Red Dead Redemption hunting missions guide

One of the easiest ways to make money in Red Dead Redemption is to hunt. The wilderness is just filled to the brim with cute little critters for you to gun down and skin for profit. That said, by completing certain tasks and performing particular feats of hunting prowess, you can advance yourself as a hunter and thereby increase your standing in the game. The quest to be a master hunter can be long, but it’s one that you needn’t do alone. Find yourself, stuck? Can’t find that damned cougar you need to knife? Just refer to our hunting guide for help.

Hunting Tips

Bring the Bait

Below you’ll find some of the best locations to find each individual animal in Red Dead Redemption. That said, these are just approximate locations and often to find your prey you’ll need to survey the surrounding area as well. While some exploration is impossible to avoid, one way to make your search easier to bring and employ bait. Each time you use a container of bait, an animal or group of animals near your location will come to investigate. There’s no guarantee you’ll attract the animal you need, but it’s still better than searching at random for hours on end.

Come Back Later

Sometimes all the waiting and searching in the world will yield you nothing. If you find yourself exploring the same areas over and over again and coming up empty handed, the best thing to do may just be to wait awhile and come back later. The passage of a few days can sometimes make a big difference.

Point in case, while writing this guide we got bogged down looking for boars. We searched the same placed over and over again to no avail. We took a break, returned to one of their stomping grounds a day or two later, and found three at once. Now, those three boars may have killed us, but that’s beside the point. Sometimes patience isn’t a virtue, waiting for something that isn’t there is the same thing as wasting your time.

Never Go Home Empty Handed

Hunting takes time, especially when you’re hunting for something in particular. As such, if you find yourself ready to give up on that one elusive animal, hunt a few of the not so elusive ones. If you’ve used bait and a pack of wolves shows up rather than the cougar you were hoping for, don’t just pass up on the wolves. That bait cost money and those wolf pelts are valuable! Generally speaking, unless they’re in sight of you, gunfire isn’t going to scare away the other animals in the area. If you see an opportunity, seize it!

Double Tap

Small animals don’t take much to kill. Shoot a raccoon and chances are it will die. Hit a bear with a pistol round on the other hand, and it will probably just keep coming. Even more common animals like deer can take more than a single shot to bring down. The point is, unless you score a headshot, shoot twice. This is especially true when using dead aim. What’s worse, wasting a bullet or having Gordo the boar knock you over like a duster wearing domino?

Runescape Non Members Money Making Guide

Runescape is one of the most popular games of today and gold is in big demand. Non-members, learn how to get your fair share of gold legitimately.
Runescape is one of the most popular online RPG’s as of yet and no wonder its in-game currency gold is in big demand. For starters, there is no “easy way” to make gold but hopefully by reading this guide, it will make the gold-making process a whole lot easier. I will be listing some of the top ways for non-members to make their fair share in gold (in no particular order).

One of the simplest and yet most profitable ways to make your keep in Runescape is to mine rune essence and sell it. You can pretty easily pull of 25 per essence, 30 if you’re good at selling. Simply do the Rune Mysteries Quest (which should be a no-brainer as the quest is very easy) and then talk to the appropriate NPC to get teleported to the place where you can mine essence. Once you have mined so your inventory is full, teleport back and make your way to a bank (Varrock is good, as it is very crowded) and sell off your essence. This is a very easy way to make some quick cash and there are very little requirements.

Fishing is another good way to make money. Unlike the first method, it is a little more complicated and has a much higher requirement. Fishing is only really profitable at level 40 or higher, when you can fish lobsters. It will take a good day or 2 of fishing to get to level 40 but compared to mining and smithing, it is a whole lot faster. I suggest you look up a good fishing guide to find an effective way to level up your fishing.

It is important to have a high cooking level along with your fishing level so you will be able to cook what you catch and sell it. Cooked lobsters can go for easily 200 gold, 250 if you’re a good salesperson. The only place for non-members to catch lobsters is at Karamja. To get there, you need to go to Port Sarim and catch the boat, which costs a total of 60 gold coins for both ways (to and from the island). Cook your caught lobsters, drop the burnt ones and then make your way to Draynor bank.

Once at Draynor, withdraw 60 gold, deposit your lobsters and then repeat. Once you achieve a goal amount of lobsters (mine is 500), go and sell them at Varrock bank where there are a lot of buyers.

Mining and Smithing is the third way I will be explaining on how to make gold. I am not too experienced with this method as it can be very long and very tedious. The basic idea is to mine a lot of ore until you get to a goal amount, store them in a nearby bank, melt all the ore into bars and then smith the bars.

Eventually, after a LONG time you will be able to make unbelievably large amounts from smithing armour and weapons. A more simplified way is to just make money by mining coal and selling the ore straight up for around 170-200 each. Coal only requires a mining level of 30 so this is much easier to reach than smithing armour and only requires the mining skill. A good place to mine coal is at the Dwarven Mines because there is Varrock bank nearby where you can store and sell your coal.

This is an unusual way of making money, but it works. Basically, complete the Stronghold of Security over and over again. The Stronghold is in the Barbarian Village in the mine. You will get around 10k gold in total for completing the Stronghold. It is advised that you do this one with caution because monsters in the Stronghold WILL attack and are very high leveled once you get to the later levels. Bringing food is a good idea and be ready to run. Regardless this way is quite easy and not very tedious because you are given pure gold so there is nothing to sell. The questions asked in the Stronghold of Security are no-brainers. Another benefit from this way is that there are effectively no requirements.

Lastly, this isn’t really a major way to make gold but if you are looking to level your combat, fight the dark wizards at the stone henge at southern Varrock. They drop runes which you can sell for a LOT each (as much as 1k?). The wizards will attack at will and are aggressive so this is not advised for if you are below around level 15. Bringing food is ideal.

And that concludes my guide to making money. I hope this guide will help you on your quest for riches in Runescape. Have fun, and remember, it’s just a game. Scamming achieves nothing.

Runescape money making guide

I think I speak for everyone when I say that being poor in runescape downright sucks. I mean it’s no fun getting called a noob based on your amount of money so I made this help full guide to help you get rich.

There are several different ways to make money on runescape ranging from merchanting to player killing, and all of these methods work quite well. First I will start with the most basic way of making money†player killing. I recommend getting your player to at least combat level 30 before you try this. To start raise a characters stats in such a way as to make him look weaker. for example. Player a has 15 defense 15 strength and 15 attack so he is level 17, while player b has o defense 20 attack and 18 strength and he too is level 17. chances are player a will be destroyed in the wild. the reason player b would do better is because player be is a pure which is someone who raises attack and strength only to make themselves appear weaker. When you raise a strong pure character I recommend going to edgeville and trying out your skills. Buy the best weapon you can use and some decent food. Which means no shrimp. Fight and do your best to defeat your opponents and get there stuff which you can then sell or give away your choice.

The second way to make money that I will discuss is using your skills. Get a skill very high like for example if you get your crafting up high and you can cut gems then you can cut and sell gems for money. There are 3 main ways to make money in this way mining cutting wood and fishing. If you plan on mining then I suggest you pick up your bronze pick and head out for varrock. Varrock features several easy places to find, mine and bank ore. Which you can then sell or smith. As you progress in this manner keep in mind that there will be players out there trying to steal your ore so don’t fall for it. Always check a price guide before you sell your ores. If you choose to cut wood then congrats you chose the easiest way to make money, although it gets quite repetitive. First cut regular trees and drop them when you get a full inventory so you don’t waste time banking worthless logs. Continue on in this fashion till you are about level 15 wood cutting. Now you can cut oak same as before cut wood drop repeat. When you eventually get high enough wood cutting to cut down yew trees now you have made it. Bank these each and every time you cut them. You will quickly get a large amount of logs which you should then sell to other players. As with the ore do not let your self get robbed of logs.

The third and final way to make money is (drum roll please) fishing. You can not only make a massive amount of money this way but you can also catch your own food. Fish with a net in lumbrige till level 10 fishing then proceed to draynor village. Try to get a hold of a fishing pole and about 500 bait then catch and drop fish till you are level 35

Fishing. Now its time to play with the big dogs. You must now go to karamja and catch tuna. As before fish and drop you will now be gaining vast amounts of fishing exp in a short amount of time. When you are level 40 fishing you will be able to catch lobsters wich will make you a fortune. But remember DON’T GET SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED FISH

Money making guide for Runescape free-to-play players

Everyone has that one friend who has the party hat, or the santa, and for who buying a full set of rune armor doesn’t dent their cash. So how did they become that rich? The better question, is how can you be that rich? Runescape is an incredible, allowing you to pretty much make money whichever way you want, some ways faster than others. The trick is to figure out a fast way of making cash while doing something that you like. And I know a few quality ways that have made me millions.

Money Making Strategies for a F2P player are pretty much divided into two categories: Skilling and other Miscellaneous ways. Skilling is not usually an ultra quick way of making cash right away, it takes getting a high level in that skill (and perhaps more than one skill) to be able to produce an item that will make you sufficient money. Other miscellaneous strategies can make you some quick money, but do not offer the same constant income as skilling (usually). I will not waste your time with slow methods of making money, why waste your time. I only show the top methods.

MINING:

Mining and smithing are two intertwined skills, and by raising both levels you can very easily increase your cash. The beginning levels of mining and smithing are pretty much a waste, you will not make any sufficient money off this. Just mine copper and tin and smelt it into bronze items. You can sell these on the grand exchange if you desire, however it is just pocket-change. You have a decision whether to just go with mining, just with smithing, or try and combine both. My suggestion is not to combine, just go all out with one or the other. To mine successfully and for it to be worth your time you should get to a level of at least 41. This allows you to use the rune pick, which greatly increases you efficiency. The best method for making money is to mine iron ore. The best spawn for this is the South-East Varrock location. Fill up and bank. Worth about 100 gp each, which equals almost 3k a trip. The advantage is that this is fast experience, and helps you to get to lvl 60. At this point you can go to the mining guild (Falador) and start making some real money from the 37 coal spawns. This is a valid way of making money, about 6k a trip. Travel to the Falador East bank. Bank and return.

SMITHING:

Smithing allows money making from the other side of rocks. Again, the lower levels of smithing are basically worthless. Get to level 30 as fast as you can. At 30 you can make smith steel bars. This method requires

    Runescape Guide to Money Making

Okay so you have come here to gain some insight on how to become rich in the grand world of runescape. I will show you two ways that I see as the best for making money in the runescape dominion. One will be what I believe is the best for nonmembers and the other will be the best for members.

Nonmembers Way: Making money in for nonmembers is often times very difficult. Occasionally you can become a worker for someone and they will pay you a good amount to do the task they need performed. If you do not want to sit around and wait for this then its plain and simple. Mine, mine, and some more mining. The best way to make money in nonmembers is going to mining coal or gold. With the coal just mine away till you get a decent amount then sell it. With gold mine a decent amount then smelt the bars and sell them. If you hate mining then my suggestion would be buy stuff at a low price and sell them for the normal price or slightly lower.

Members Way: Here is where you can truly do some money raking but you need to have level 55 magic, 65 fletching, and either level 44 runecrafting or level 60 woodcutting. If you are level 44 runecrafting then you make about 5k natures then you buy 5k yews logs and 5k bow strings. Now you make yew longbows with the yew logs and strings. Then you use the high alchemy spell and turn the yew longs into 5k cash. Now if you have level 60 woodcutting then you are going to do everything the same except you are going to buy the 5k natures and cut the 5k yew logs.

I hope this guide will help you make money. If you have any questions you can contact me on runescape at gemini190 or ak47auto. Best of luck.

    FarmVille Crop Guide

In this guide, I will list the top 8 crops that will bring you the most money in FarmVille. I will list each crop, the total amount you will get, how long it will take for you to grow it, and how much you will pocket. Here are the top 8 starting with the crop that will earn you the most money in FarmVille.

    Corn – 215 coins

Corn will earn you the most money in FarmVille. The cost of the corn and plowing per field will cost you 165 coins. When you sale the corn, you will get 380 coins. The corn is ready in 3 days. So, subtract the cost of planting and plowing from your sale total and you will get 215 coins. Corn would be what brings in the most money in FarmVille as of right now.

    Watermelons – 203 Coins

The next crop in the list is watermelons. The watermelons will cost you 145 coins to plant and plow per field. It will take the watermelons 4 days to grow. When you sell the watermelons, you will get 348 coins per field. So, do the math and you will have 203 coins to the good.

    Potatoes – 195 Coins

The third crop in the list is potatoes. You will make 195 coins to the good on potatoes. It takes 3 days for potatoes to grow. It will cost you 150 coins to plow and plant. When you sell the crops, you will get 355 coins per field. So, that will leave you 195 coins to the good per field.

    Pineapples – 132 Coins

Pineapples will cost you 110 coins to plow and plant. When you sell the pineapples, you will get 242 coins per field. That will leave you with 132 coins to the good. It takes pineapples 2 days to grow.

    Artichokes – 119 Coins

Artichokes is the next in the list. To plow and plant one field, you will pay 85 coins per field. Each field will sell for 204 coins. That will give you 119 coins to the good. It will take artichokes 4 days to grow.

    Cotton – 117 Coins

Cotton takes 3 days to grow. You will make 117 coins to the good after you subtract the cost of plowing and planting. It will cost you 90 coins to plow and plant. You will get 207 coins per field you sell.

    Peppers – 77 Coins

Peppers take 1 day to grow. It will cost you 85 coins to plant and plow. When you sell the crops, you will get 162 coins per field. That will leave you with 77 coins to the good per field.

    Squash – 66 Coins

    Best Crops in Exp/Hour

Due to the Sheer LENGTH of this guide, i have placed this separately:

    http://gameolosophy.com/games/farmville-the-exphour-guide/ Enjoy!

    Fastest Levels

The quickest way to level is easily by planting berries*. By continually planting strawberries you get (If you have a 12*12 farm) 288 Exp Every 4 hours. This is the very fast way. But obviously this is mainly used at the weekend unless you can check your farm and spend 20 minutes harvesting, ploughing and planting every hour. Naturally – if you’re in it for the levels and not the money – you can plough as much land as possible and continually plant on them. To get the most effective Exp Out of a plot you could leave a section of your farm plowed without seeding it and then plant soybeans (Best crop for what we are about to do) .Delete the Patches, And repeat, as many times as desired. This will cause you to gain Exp for the plowing and the planting, then being able to do it again on a empty plot.

Alternatively, pumpkins Or Rice if you spend a full 11 hours at work. If this is the case you need alternative methods of making Exp. Here are some:

Wanting fast levels means you wish to spend money on it. Buildings yield a lot of experience – however will cost you a large amount of your money. Eg. A windmill is bought for 100,000 Coins and Given 1,000Exp. Or 1% of what you paid…In Exp!! (An imaginary building cost 750,000 – You get 7,500Exp)

Finally, Helping 20 neighbours a day although somewhat dull, yields a maximum of 100 Exp for 20. (See the Assisting Section). In addition, the newly released Achievements (See section) gives great Exp as well as some money to spend on more Exp!!!

For faster plowing – fertalizing friends crops gives more fuel. So – Make sure you fertalize your neighbours famrs every day for the extra conveniance!

*Raspberries do not appear to give ANY Exp for planting. However, they give the same EXP (Over 4 hours) as strawberries from Plowing – Just more money!

    Fastest & Most Money

To get the most money from your farm you want to not always plant the most expensive seed you can. The seeds that give the largest amount of cash are listed in the “Best Crop for Money/hour” At the top of the page. The higher the level you are, the better crops you can plant. So find the highest seed you can plant on the list and that will be your best money maker! You should also be sensible. If you know you are going out don’t pick the seed that will make the most money and will be harvest-able an hour before the predicted time you get home – Pick one that is slightly over your estimated time so nothing does go wrong!

Some seeds like Peppers, and Rice and Pumpkins are the best profit for the time they are planted (Best money per day) Also – To get an extra boost in money, Refer to the “Assisting” section

Finally, the Achievements (See section) gives great Money!

Peas are now the best thing to plant. Harvesting in 1 Day and making a profit of 176 Coins Each. (70,400 Coins for a 20*20 Farm!)

Best of both Money and Exp

The best recommendation for this is to plant some seeds that take 3 days (or so) in a 1/3 of your farm, some seeds that take 2 days in another 1/3 and finally peppers or soybeans in the final section (Yes, the ones that take a day!). This way, when the peppers ripen – you can plant more. The next day when the level 2 Items ripen (Just before the newly replaced crops that take 1 day) you can harvest both of them, and plant twice as many peppers/peas. And on the final day you harvest the entire farm. This leads to good reaping of Exp and a good amount of money from all the harvesting.

Planting an entire farm of 1 seed can become tedious when getting to the harvest. With relation to the previous paragraph – you could stagger the harvesting/plough/planting. With 2 crops that take 2 days to ripen. Plant them on alternating days so you only ever have to harvest half the farm at once. This way also ensures you get a stead stream of money everyday in case you do spend it on extra Exp like buildings, trees Etc.

When money doesn’t become an issue (Around when you have 125,000+) refer to the quick levelling guide. Also – to get an extra boost in both Exp & money, Refer to the “Assisting” section

    Trees

Gifted by friends, you can buy them to give you Exp As well (planted gifted trees does not yield Exp). You can harvest them then for extra money to add to your profits, or you can let them ripen and leave them to make your farm look pretty (What I do).

They are slow by steady income, but can take up lots of space normally along the edge of your farm, or bunched in one corner.

Alternatively you can (Similarly to the plots) buy them for the Exp, sell them, and buy more!

Name – Buying Price – Exp Gained from Planting – Harvest in – Produce Selling price – Tree Selling Price

    Acai – 27 farmcash – 2 Days – 158 coins – 47 coins

    Orange – 425 coins – 5Exp - 4 Days – 40 coins – 21 coins

    Peach – 500 coins – 5Exp - 4 Days – 47 coins – 25 coins

    Date – Only Gift – Gifted - 3 Days – 69 coins – 40 coins
    Olive – Only Gift – Gifted - 4 Days – 90 coins – Unknown

    Animals

Animals are a pain. They take up space and they do not give very much money daily. A Single apple tree is better than 2/3 of the buy-able animals, and draws with the last. Sheep cost 700 coins. In theory, you can buy 2 apple trees and then gain twice as much as you would from 1 sheep! Trees are much better than sheep – it appears.

However, if you find the animals or they are gifted – you may as well! I would suggest not letting them wander…

Also, helping animals that wander onto your farm can give you a small amount of money. But it is up to you.

Check the bottom of the guide for a Link to a Exp Giving Guide to Animals

    Assisting

Visiting neighbours farms and pending neighbours is a GREAT way to give yourself a small boost in cash, but Exp as well! You normally get 1 or 5Exp and around 20 Coins. So it is GREAT to visit all your neighbours periodically and collect a small prize

Fertalizing thier farms and feeding the chickens in the chicken house can yield fuel and small bonuses.

    Vehicles

Possibly the only useful “Decoration” in Farmville, the 3 Vehicles are worth buying. They make everything so much faster! And you get the benefit of using fuel you obtain from neighbours, super grow and Collections (See section for more infomation)

    -Tractor
    -Harvester
    -Seeder

Obviously, it doesn’t take a genius to work out a tractor plows, seeder plants seeds and that a harvester helps bring in the produce!

    Achievements

This feature is Fantastic for both money and Exp. Although it can cost a rather amount in both Coins and Time to complete some of the longer achievements, however most a relatively easy and reward handsomely with Exp, Coins and a Random Gift.

All of the yellow ribbons are very easy to achieve, and you will get awarded with quite a few ribbons the first time you log into them! Then, you will want to advance to the white, red and blue ribbons in some (Getting more Exp and Gold, and more Free items!)

You may think that spending lots of cash on getting the Architect ribbon (for example) is a waste. But these balance out again when you get the cream of the crop, or one of the variety ribbons as you will get the money with them.

Good and Easy achievements to receive are:

    • Local Celebrity
      • Get this by requesting neighbours.
    • High Roller
      • This is best got by planting the highest paying crops. See the appropriate section for which!
    • A Pretty Penny
      • Spend.
    • Cream of the Crop
      • Well – You basically get this purely by harvesting!
    • Architect
      • Build, Its a nice easy one to get. Build something cheap and sell after you get the blue!
    • Animal Shelter
    • Green Thumbs
      • Variety!
    • Tree Hugger
      • Variety!
    • Noah’s Ark
      • Variety!
    • Not spoiler, Gifted!
      • This one sorta goes without saying! Ask!

Most of these are not terribly difficult

    Collections

    In January Collections were realsed, with the aim of getting people to do a variert around their farm and others. When you have found all a collection, You may cash it for;

    - 250Exp
    – 5,000 Coins
    – 5 Tanks of Fuel

The money and Exp are a nice little bonus, however if you are experienced enought – its not that much. However the fuel is a welcome bonus. The fuel will be used to plow/sow/harvest and make the same amount of exp and cash all over again!

If you see that someone has completed a collection on your Facebook feed – Be sure to click the “get” button – because you get a random items from the collection they cashed! So you could get one of the rare ones and save lots of time!

    Gifting

Gifting to people is a good way to get them back. You might want to keep a list of you who gift to and who gifts back. Sometimes requesting specific gifts in your status can get a nice flood. Normally – If I get trees, i plant them. If i get animals i sell them for the extra money boost (Small as it may be). You should always try and gift the highest thing you can since they almost always give the best return (Unless someone requests one)

Gifts are also randomly received from doing achievements, and although (Like regular gifts) you do not receive Exp from planting/placing them, they can be sold. Sometimes its best to keep them for future Achievements.

    Tips

    1. Try to Log on Every Day to get a prize from the Raffle!
    2. Estimating the time the plants should be done is good and lets you then harvest and plough efficiently
    3. Try and plant so all plants collide at 1 Big harvest time, giving max Exp and Money!
    4. Doing achievements award money and Exp. Complete them for more!
    5. For faster ways to Plow and plant, check this Link
    6. Don’t spend you FV dollars on decorations.
    7. Buy Special need seeds for wherever if you have the FV dollars.
