Before I tell you this trick, let me see if you qual ify because it’s a doozy.
Of course you do! That’s the trick. Every body qual i fies but it’s the pro cess of telling people they may not that makes it such a great trick, see if people think they have to pre qual ify before you’ll sell them some thing it helps you to ensure that you’ve got a great pro spect on the hook without doing a lot of leg work.
How many times have you seen “click here to see if you qual ify†or a form to fill out before you find the price? Count less times right? Well think about it for a second, most sales leads are a waste of time right so how do we ensure the ones your selling to are worth while? You make sure they’re com mit ted to the pro cess and to do that, we make them prove it.
This is an age old tac tic, one of the schools I used to work for made stu dents write entrance exams before talk ing to a sales per son. Truth is, we didn’t care about the exams (actu ally nobody even looked at them again) but every body who filled out our “qual i fic a tion test†passed with fly ing col ors †mostly green and straight into our bank account. The people who didn’t write the test? Some of them still made it in but since it took a lot more sales effort to “win the prizeâ€, we usu ally filled up our rosters with people who had already proved they des per ately wanted to buy our products.
Bet ter than that though, even the ones who simply filled out online “you may qual ify†forms gave us their names, con tact details and pro grams of interest. How awe some is that?
Now you’ve build your email list, your sales people know who are most likely to pay you money and you’ve qual i fied leads.
