Easy ways to make money for kids

I am creating this hub page to share my experiences with unemployed college graduates and students who are debt-ridden and are looking for ways and ideas to make fast money while looking for a job or to pay-off student loans debt.

Nowadays, more and more students are graduating with student loan debt. In the US alone, the average debt for a college graduate has soared 50% in the past decade.

A college graduate with student loan debts is under pressure to find employment sooner. However, in a tight job market like today, unemployment and underemployment of college graduates is common. Each year, more and more graduates are added to the pool of unemployed graduates.

Graduating from college with debt and not finding employment sooner than expected is devastating. Unemployed college graduates with debt may wait many months before they find a job they desire. Some may not find a job in their profession and may end up with low-paid entry level jobs or jobs not in their field of study. This can also cause dissatisfaction in job and low morale and self-esteem. Even employers employing such graduates may not get maximum work output from them.

When I was an unemployed college graduate with outstanding student loan debts, I sometimes had sleepless nights. At times, I was angry and frustrated. Although I was an adult, I was forced to live with my parents, and had to obey all the house rules, like I use be when I was a child. I knew I was responsible for repaying the loans.

I came to the conclusion that I was totally responsible for my life and I had to take some action towards paying off my loans. Though I didn’t have a job, I did have the time. I asked myself “how do I spend my time?”.

I was determined to use the “time” I had while I sought employment to do something – step by step – towards repaying my loans.
