Author So you want to make money in your spare time? I stumbled over this site when I was looking for answers to the origins of the universe, and then I realized, I could write my own articles, on whatever I wanted, and get paid at the same time. Whatever you want to write about, fiction, non fiction, news, or opinion, Associated Content lets you do it, so long as you stick within their guidelines.
Their payment seems like a small amount, $1.50 per thousand clicks, but you have to remember that that is an ongoing payment, a residual income which increases, the longer you keep publishing articles, and getting clicks. There are many ways to make money in your spare time, but not many that give you the opportunity to keep making money on the work that you have done for the rest of your life.
I started out with the things I was most interested in, the workings of the universe, big bang, big crunch, black holes etc, and continued on with my interest in music, the classical scales, the classical chords, etc, and then I started writingfree recipes, freehandy hints, advice on lifeproblems, and so on. The key to building a lasting residual income is to write about the things that people will always be interested in, such as love, health, food, sex, or other constants. This site has been a great outlet for me, because it let me get an audience for my ideas, on many things, and let me make a little money while I was at it. I recommend that you try writing for Associated Content, if only to put your own personal ideas out there for other people to read.
