Easiest way to make money on runescape for f2p?
It is tricky to navigate through the Stronghold of Player Safety, but the rewards are great. The high level monsters drop large numbers of runes.
free players who choose to train on them, some high-level ores such as mithril and adamant, and even rune scimitars and rune square shields for rarer drops. (For members, they mainly drop charms, seeds, and herbs.) No food is needed, but a high enough percent of run is recommended. The reward may only be received once per player, however, if a player loses/drops their Safety gloves they can come back to the chest for a new pair.
Once completed, the Cockroach soldiers (level 83) drop Rune Scimitar,Rune Sq Shield and dragon spears. They also drop a lot of crimson charms, which are used in summoning. They also offer decent training for higher leveled players.
[edit] Stronghold of SecurityRating: *****
If players are brave enough, they can attempt the Stronghold of Security in Barbarian Village. Food is recommended for players at all levels and even more for low-level players. (Note: For players with 10-15 hitpoints, trouts or higher are recommended). One can usually pick up raw trout and salmon from powerfishers near barbarian village on world 1.
After players have had their account recovery questions set and proceed through all four levels in the Stronghold, they will be awarded 10,000 coins and either; the Fancy boots which are rainbow coloured or the Fighting boots these boots have spikes on the end. Both these boots have the same stats so either pair is fine.
You can only get the money one time and you can swap your boots if you change your mind.
The monsters in this dungeon get stronger as players descend from level to level, and are aggressive beginning with the second level. There are some “safe” spots on all levels where players can wait to recover their run energy and eat to restore their hitpoints before they proceed further. Also once you get to the last level on the stronghold if you are a low level find the places where there are no monsters or some. But if you’re a higher level get some good armour and a good weapon and you can get the skull sceptre when you have all the pieces to make it.
Some lower trainable monsters in the security stronghold include zombies and minotaurs. The zombies constantly drop steel arrows, body runes, and gems. The minotaurs drop iron arrows and noted rune essence/pure essence which can add up in time.
There have been reports that the random event occurrences tend to be increased in the stronghold, so training for a long time will increase your chances of getting gems and other random event items. Players may bank all items and just sprint through each level to get the rewards easily.
For members, Once completed, the Flesh Crawlers often drop higher leveled herbs, which can be gathered & sold for a tidy sum. [edit] Collecting items[edit] LogsRating:*****
If you have a higher woodcutting level, go to the Grand Exchange. Near there are plain trees. When you get a lot, sell them at the Grand Exchange. They sell for 25 coins each. Those who have reached 60 woodcutting may chop from the multiple yews in Varrock and sell them for 449 coins each.
[edit] CowhidingRating:*****
Cowhiding, or selling Cowhides, is a highly profitable way to make lots of money. However, as you would be making frequent trips to Al-Kharid, completing the Prince Ali Rescue mission would be a smart way to start.
Before starting, empty out all of your inventory (except for a single sword) and withdraw exactly 81 coins. To Cowhide, head to the cow-fields north of Lumbridge. (continue north from Lumbridge, follow the road as it turns, then go up past the Mill; you should see a very large fenced area) It is advised to do this in a very low populated world, as some competition for cows is involved. Enter the cowfield through the gate, and immediately start killing cows and collecting their raw cowhide. This is quite tedious, but the rewards are great.
After collecting at least 27 cowhides (You can also deposit more in the deposit box in the Gnomecopter area) turn on your Run meter and run all the way down to Lumbridge, crossing the first bridge you come to the east, and then entering Al-Kharid. As soon as you get past the gates guarded by the Al-Kharid soldiers, turn south and travel that way (instead of continuing on the dirt path to Al-Kharid) until you see the little building with the brown shirt logo. This is Ellis the tanner’s place. Inside here, ask him to tan all of your cowhides into Hard leather.
After this, continue north from Al-Kharid into southern Varrock. Make your way to the Grand Exchange, and sell all of those beautiful cowhides for 112 coins. These sell remarkably fast, and soon you should have a couple thousand gold coins in your pocket.
[edit] Food collecting=====Cooks’ guild respawn items===== (Fiuty?!) Rating: *****
Gathering items from the cooking guild can be fast money since most respawn fast there but are rare when talking about RuneScape as a whole. Therefore you can gather them at the Cooks’ Guild fast and run them straight to the Grand Exchange for fast coins. It is possible to make 10,000 to 20,000 coins an hour if you work at it and it only requires that you can enter the guild.
[edit] PotatoesRating: *****
Collecting food materials can be quite profitable for beginners. Potatoes, in particular, can be found in several places on both member and free-to-play worlds. The current price of potatoes in the GE are 70 coins, and are in strong demand due to several member food items that can be prepared with them, as well as for Stew in F2P cooking. The fastest location (in F2P worlds) is the potato farm just to the east of Draynor Village. For members, the potato field north of Ardounge is the best area as its only a few steps to the bank.
Bring 23 gardening sacks with you for mass storage and greatly improved profit rate, and if you can create buttered potatoes, cook the potatoes on a range. (Traveling between the Leptoc mansion and the nearby bank to withdraw new potatoes is a good idea.) Purchase the Pat of butter for447 coins at the GE, apply it to the cooked potatoes, then sell them for an excellent profit. The potatoes can be banked in Draynor Village for (F2P) or by going north to the deposit box at the Gnomecopters. Potatoes also can be bought from Wydin’s Food Store in Port Sarim for 16 coins each, banked, and then sold to the Grand Exchange, though this is a slower method. [edit] CheeseRating: *****
With a little bit of cash, a player can also travel to Port Sarim and buy Cheese for 8 coins each at Wydin’s Food Store and in turn sell can also go to Draynor Village and get cheese for free in the witches house.
Members which have completed at least part of Recipe for Disaster quest may buy cheese (and various other profitable food items) at the Culinaromancer’s chest, which also functions as a bank. This shop does not have an infinite stock. [edit] Pastry DoughRating *****
Making pastry dough is a good method to make money. Surprisingly, Pastry dough costs more than the pies it is used to make! First, go to the Grand Exchange and buy about 20 pots of flour. Make sure you have a bucket with you, then go to the Fountain east of the grand exchange, west of the palace. Fill the bucket with water, and mix the water with the flour. Drop the pot, and repeat until all of the flour has been made into pastry dough, then sell the dough for about 176 coins each.
[edit] Wine of ZamorakRating: *****
You must have level 33 mage to do this. Travel to the chaos temple north of Goblin village and telegrab the wine. If you do not telegrab, the monks will attack you, lower your stats, and possibly kill you. When you get about 25 wines, go to the Grand Exchange and sell them for 794 coins. Make sure they sell for at least the price of one Law rune or you will actually lose money.
[edit] Red Spiders’ EggsRating: *****
For F2P these eggs can be found in the sewers of Varrock. There are 2 spawn points for them and they respawn about every 40 seconds (faster on busy worlds). They sell for 358 coins. If you don’t know where the sewers are at, the entrance is just east of the Varrock palace and just north of the east bank. It is marked on your map with . The spiders are towards the end of the sewers by the Moss Giants. The eggs are on the south wall on the ground. The spiders do not drop the eggs.
Beware of the many level 34 spiders though, they’ll try to pile you if you’re not careful.
F2P can also get red spider’s eggs in the volcano on Karamja, same rule applies to watching out for the spiders.
After making a few trips, you’ll figure out just how much food is necessary for survival but runs out just in time for a full inventory of eggs. A minimum Combat level of 50 is recommended.
Also, players with level 10 summoning may summon spirit spiders. Buy the pouches and egg spawn scrolls off the Grand Exchange. The scrolls spawn 0-3 red spiders’ eggs and the spiders last 14 minutes. Each pouch costs the same as one egg, and each scroll costs 1/10 of the price of an egg. Remember that you get up to 3 eggs per scroll, so you can’t lose money doing it!
[edit] Monk’s RobesRating *****
Requirements: 31 Prayer
These spawn at the Monastery just west of Edgeville. There are 2 pieces for them and they respawn approximately 52 seconds. The robes sell for 473 coins for the top and 507 coins for the bottom.
[edit] DyesRating: *****
Harvesting onions and redberries can give some modest profit as well, but by far it is more profitable to make dyes from these items. For only 5 coins (even on F2P worlds), the player can trade 2 onions for yellow dyes, or 3 red berries for red dyes. These can in turn be sold on the Grand Exchange for 193 coins.
